My main idea revolves around people and objects that they hold dear, either through the objects functionality or the perceived value the object has in the person's mind, a cherished childhood toy for example.
I have three aspects to the project: the creation of sculptures using discarded electronic devices, images of items when they were new and how they look now after years of ownership/neglect and combining two objects to create a new hybrid object.
I found some old cell phones and plan on taking them apart and seeing what I can do with them. I'll post some pics later this weekend, some before and during shots of the electro-surgery.
